BACKDROP PULL FRAME DESIGN : SRTET

I had 2 jobs today, one job right here is to design pull-frame backdrop for S.R.T Electric Train Company (SRTET). It is my country's airport link. They want to have an easy backdrop for setting up some small event at anywhere.

My design concept to present its fast and very accommodate for people that they can get to the airport or downtown in very short time (17 mins). So I think using radiant orange can presented my concept well, also making some motion like the trains is coming out from the vanishing point.

STAGE DESIGN : THE INNOVATION VOUCHER for SMEs

Today I had a job about designing stage, logo of key visual and booth for presentation in the event "THE INNOVATION VOUCHER for SMEs". This seminar held by between The Federation of Thai Industries with National Innovation Agency for any investor that has an idea but don't have knowledge or technology. The organization want to promote they can support about technology, research, personnel and even budget.

The concept of the key visual came from matching between INNOVATION, GROWING BUSINESS and COOPERATION (between 3 organizations). So my idea came down to this below.

"Innovation is not as difficult as you think....you think....we do" is the main voice behind the project. Gold effect is represent well-gain of money in business, Three different colors of bar represent three departments's cooperation.

In seminar, they would like to have a presentation area for presenting Thailand's zone of projects that has been succeeded in the past many years.

The final one is the stage.There will be the big screen 4 X 3 m. at the center.

WEB DESIGN : SAMU COCONUT JUICE

Since yesterday, I have designed the main website for SAMU Coconut Water - The brand that my client would like to promote in LA on next week. He will fly there on Monday, so I must finish all jobs by this week.

Actually, I am not quite talent in web design, still not know about iFrame, how to do database for registration and feeds. LABEL DESIGN : LEOPARD GREASE

LEOPARD, it's PULZA grease which part of the same company of STATE Lubricant. They would like to improve grease's label design by re-draw the leopard illustrate on label. I used one of leopard image from Google, then re-created it to becomes my style and make it looks more interesting.

I created all these in Illustrator. I think making realistic object in it would look more interesting.

SAMU is one brand of coconut juice that will be distributed in LA. My client Mr. Ming, his strategy to show the market that SAMU is also similar to a media agency. When college students or any group of people who want to set up their party, SAMU team can provide drink (Coconut water + vodka) , DJ, pretties, also all sound equipment and stage to support the party.

These are some SAMU's t shirt patterns I designed for their staff. I created all these in Illustrator.

PHOTO AREA DESIGN : BANGKOK AIRPORT RAIL LINK

SRTET stand for S.R.T. Electrified Train Company. Normally we call Airport Link. It is very new rail transportation accommodate anyone who wants to access between downtown and International Airport. It is very helpful to us as my house locates in the middle between SRTET's station and BTS Sky Ttrain's station.

SRTET would like to have photo area for 2 popular festivals. The first one is for "Valentine Day", and the second is for "Songkran Festival".

For the Valentine's idea, I just drew the terminal's platform. to express some feeling when passenger experience stand for waiting a train. Using plenty of rose flowers as a foreground, many rose's petals or pink color to give mood and tone get along well with the festival.

For the "Songkran Day Festival" which it's about playing water. I retouched like thrown water with the logo then put some Thai's image like one the most famous Thai temple as a foreground.

FACEBOOK AD : SAMU COCONUT JUICE

Today this morning, I had one job to design a facebook ad for photo contest program of SAMU : the coconut water juice original from Thailand. The product will be distributed in LA only selling on Amazon.com.

HOUSING BROCHURE DESIGN : ENTERPRIZE PARK

JANOME PRODUCT DISPLAY DESIGN

Yesterday, I designed product display for elna, today I designed one more for JANOME. Both of them are sewing machine brand. elna comes from Swiss, JANOME from Japan.

The concept is try to present the product is able to create very complicated pattern of sewing. So I think about using them to sew some beautiful image of japan. I chose mount Fuji from Google. People will trust and feel wonder how the machine can produce it.

The mannequin stand at right is quite scary, but this is the best I could do.

After this first draft, client would like to add some elements to present their logo and one of fashion designer's bio that use their sewing machine.

elna PRODUCT DISPLAY DESIGN

Even this special day, I still had a job. It was my challenge to design product display for elna. This one will be placed in front of elna exhibition area and shops. The concept behind is to use blue as the main color, make it looks luxurious and very attractive to people.

I have been assigned to design hanging banner for National Science Museum. The objective is to use 3 main color tones ; grey, blue and white. But can not patient to put some more colors to make it looks bright. I created these in Photoshop with 2 options for my client.

Actually I do not like their logo which it looks terrible, and it is very hard to make it match with any design. Anyway it is also my responsibility to do it.

I have just finished my logo design for BiLBerry Beauty Store (that's difficult to type). I don't know much about her products. The concept is about to use purple + pink + white color with blueberry fruit and try to make it looks like came from pastel work. In Illustrator, the techniques for making it looks like pastel is very hard as I don't know how to make it. Anyway some of them look similarly. I came up with 4 options for her.

POWER BOON is the big electronic shop situate at Chiangmai, one of very charming province in the Northern part of my country. Because he believes in Feng Shui and he has consulted with Feng Shui knower about logo that must has a bird symbolic means his growing-well business. And green color is united with him.

I design 2 optional logos that have all categories he need to have on the logo.

Booth Design : Tradition of the Northeastern Thailand

National Science Museum of Thailand would like to set the exhibition for disseminating knowledge about Northeastern Thai people. The design has been sketched by client which I just follow their guideline to become my 3D in Photoshop.

Client needs to put the Thai rocket made from bamboo at the left. According to ancient tradition, Thai rocket will be ignited then rise up to the sky ask their spirits to inspire rain all over the year. At the right will be Northeastern hut. For the backdrop will be Thai rice field image.

So long time since I've posted the latest one, because flooding crisis in my country caused delay to most of my client's projects. Now it seems getting better,,,water has gone, the works has come.

Last week I have one assignment from my long-term hired client, The SAZZY. It was to create 2 graphic scenes for to become the large backdrop in the event. The first one is Japan scene, as my client need to have plenty of sakura plants and flowers with far away is the Japanese palace. I have looked for many sources of photos from Google for creating and retouching the completed background. I created it in Photoshop within hour and a half. My client love it. I will happy to show my steps

Western Scene Backdrop Design : ELNA 2011

From the previous post is about Japanese retouched image. I created it for Janome part. There is another product booth is aside with Janome which is elna, Client need to make this backdrop scene in western style. So I downloaded 9-10 sources of photo, most of them has taken in Arisona. It is critical to all Thai people to fight against flooding crisis for 2 months and would be better in the end of next month. My house is situated in the middle of capital, it's in the area that government has previously announced it's safe, but today is not safe anymore.

I still have jobs but there are too many things I have to concern like protecting my house from flooding, don't have time to do something new with my blogs. I am sorry if you wish to see more my new work during this time. Thank you for coming in.

Product Showcase Design : JANOME & ELNA

From the last event I designed stage and product showcase for JANOME. This time they would like to set up another event but launch product together with ELNA, the leading brand in the world for sewing machine. It is the same style as the last event for JANOME which is Japanese, for ELNA must be Swiss style. Luckily, It is matched to my house style which is Swiss, so I have my own case study.

I created ELNA's product showcase in square shape of plan which they can show 2 items of product on each platform. I created these in Photoshop which the production team must adapt it to becomes a real one.

Marketing Pack Design : SAMUI Coconut Water

TJA 56th Anniversary : Stage Design

TJA stand for Thai Journalist Association. The seminar will be held for giving prestigious award for outstanding journalists and photographers for along 2011. I designed stage and some printing materials for this event which under organized by The SAZZY.

This below is my stage's backdrop design for this event.

A lot of blank frame in A3 size are sponsors which we don't know now who gonna be our sponsors for this event. This is just very simple backdrop with inkjet. The only thing will be separated from the backdrop are the two of pigeon figures.

After I have created above in Illustrator, then I retouched and drew it to becomes stage design like 3D (by Photoshop)

My client commented my design looks like a buffalo's horn, So I revised to becomes these 2 below which are the second revise for the backdrop design, I cut off some Thai elements but focus more to the bird's movement.

This below is the 3rd option.

GoalGPS : Newspaper Ad Design

On last Friday I got one job from new client that he's doing about GPS business and accessories. He would like me to design a newspaper ad for his product with size half page of newspaper. I suggest him 2 options, another one is still not finished yet, but the below one is the first option. From this image I got from Google,

I retouch it to becomes the GPS stand among the great capital, Bangkok city, then retouch some nice cars around the product.

Flower Pattern Design

Today I designed pattern for installing at front glass of windows and entrance for Maptaphut City. I suggest natural pattern design which has warm welcome to people come to contact to government officer. I don't know how can I call this kind of flower, just took it from Google and try to copy and adapt it in Illustrator. I created all these things in Illustrator.

Then I think about lattice with flowers in garden. So I pretend two glasses of window aside with sliding door to becomes the flower lattice.

It was so hard to make these things finish in Illustrator, the program was not able to support too many vector objects, I must re-made it 3 times, even now I'm still not sure my file is still OK if I want to open it later. For me I love-hate Illustrator. The good part, there are many functions which are incredible, but the bad part that can not calculate when making many objects. I love Corel Draw which it is more enhanced but most of the print houses are not able to support .cdr file.

So if there are too many problems in Illusrator, I drew it in Illus then compose piece by piece in Photoshop instead. This is the glass windows's pattern design.

My client need some more plants behind the lattice, So I created below in Illustrator, but for palm leafs, I got it from free vector art site, Thanx to there.

NAS Packaging Design

NAS H4 Halogen is one of his hoped products will growing in very large market in my country. I designed packaging for NAS consist of hanging packaging and box packaging. I worry about product as I saw it on Google before, but his team has confirmed halogen looks the same.

Questionnaire Podium Design : Maptaphut City

Maptaphut is one of large city in Eastern part of Thailand. There are many industrial investment for setting up very complexity infrastructure for anyone who work in the area like engineers, scientists, workers, etc. This time I designed questionnaire podium for municipality's office, it will be located at reception area.

My design is similar to Mac screen's podium, I don't know how to call this. I also decorate gold color to make it looks valuable, respect, trusting and appropriate for the government's working area.

Thailand Local Graphic : Calendar 2012

My biggest long-term client is from local area. More than 50% of principle graphic came from me. This post will make you understand the way and style of local people in my country like the graphic. It has to be simple, easy to understand to get impress. They don't have much chance to see trend of graphic design like many people who live in the capital.

This time I designed calendar 2012 for placing on the table for Lamchabang City, which growth from municipality since the latest year as government has been set those area to becomes a hub for a shipyard, dock and industrial cities. If you don't know Lamchabang, you may know Pattaya which is not far from there.

Client just want to show this image of kids are planting, and Smiling Logo. I finished 2 options for cover, which there are 2 templates for an inside page left. I'll update later. And all these things except the two kids, I have made it from Illustrator.

PULZAR : Paper Shelf Design

Before I start designing folder and insert sheet for the biggest cabaret show in Phuket. This is the job I have just finished, paper shelf design for grease package of PULZAR. They want to place this shelf for 4 types of package at many auto repair shops which they focus to truck driver. It makes from paper and easy to fold and setup. Print 2 colors, black and yellow. The graphic of truck and logo will be separately cut. This presentation was made from Illustrator.

From above design, client commented my yellow background may cause to make the shelf looks so nice, so they suggested me to change it to white, and brief some adjustment. I think it still looks OK even I did that.

I also design a cautionary sticker on the package's lid too.

10 Mins Drawing Souvenir Bag with Illustrator

Even some souvenir I must make 3D presentation to show my client, like this. Client want to see a souvenir bag which they need to put calendars, post-it and annual report inside. So instead I search some large image that kind of bag from Google, I created the bag with illustrator within 10 mins to show them, absolutely they like it. Why I drew it? maybe I stupid, but I found from my experience compare between use the real image from Google or create it with my own, client might like the one I drew for them and make them easy for making decision better. I don't know why..

Questionnaire Podium Design : Lamchabang City Municipality

This morning I designed questionnaire podium for Lamchabang City. They want to place few of them in the front area where people in that city come to pay tax, ask for help, etc.

I don't want to make this thing just look like an ordinary modern style. People might not pay interesting to write a comment, they would think this is just some furniture at the corner.

So I use some lighting techniques and material which looks like it comes back from the future (I think..) This is not finish yet, I will update one more option which I plan to design like a ship wheel, I think it could represent that area better, because Lamchabang is the largest area for shipyard industry.

Natural Science Exhibition : Just a Template Design

BlueCup Coffee's Backdrop Design

BlueCup Coffee is very popular coffee franchise in my country. It's belonged to S&P as well known is one of the most famous franchise of international restaurant too.

I created this backdrop graphic for S&P booth in event, organized by ACEBuilder. This backdrop width 8 meters with 2.5 meter height. The characters have already been designed for another designer.

STATChipPAC : Key Messages Poster Design

STATChipPAC provides integrated packaging and testing solutions, semiconductor solutions include package design, bump, probe, assembly, test and distribution services. I created their poster design for motivating campaign which they will show the posters around in the factory and in the offices. It shows 5 key messages.

Actually, This job I designed for Digimagic based in Singapore, managed by Mr. Donald Lim. It was my test job before they accepted to let me in his team, but unfortunately there were some accident from my family which I must refused his offer. I always have been feeling regret that moment until now about leaving opportunity to work with one of very great team I have ever seen.

There were several options for the designs, but I choose some of them, and this below is the first which I think it is the most attractive one.

This is the second which he commented it is too concentrate the product, and the product itself is wrong which it must be semiconductor.

This below was the final one the end user chose. I thought about jet planes are forming engine's smoke like the Olympic symbol, it's related to the idea of 5 key messages that they tried to present.

SAP Seminar in Bangkok

Once when I work with MICE & Communication, SAP is one of our customers. All designs have been done for SAP was not fun as it is controlled under very strong guidebook, it makes not so freedom to do anything. But it also makes me proud to do artworks for them which my portfolio may looks more interesting.

These below is the poster design for one of SAP seminar. They were placed together in product booth area (just a hotel's table). and I really love the right woman.

There were many poster size A1 and 84.5 X 240 cm. placed around in the area of seminar too. It's shown clients in our country that are strongly using SAP products.

WATER SUMMIT 2012

This week until the next 2 weeks would be so hard for me, because I have to design all graphics for a very big event and this will be reputation for our country. This event name is 'WATER SUMMIT 2012'. There would be approximately 50 countries' leaders around the world come to attend this seminar. Possibly Obama, US president come to join this event too. It also my proud to design graphic to support this such a big event.

The event will be held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. I have to provide graphic for gateway, stage design, directory board, all banners, brochure and some souvenirs too.

First below is stage design. There's the effect like waterfall, fog and mist, projection of logo image on waterfall's surface. I also suggest a very large LED screen set behind the backdrop which we can show very smooth effect of water is falling, a moving cloud, sunset, sunrise and night sky for role play (if they have).

and because I forgot onsite's stage must has the existing platform, then I drew it in.

Next below is the gateway design for setting up before guests will walk into the Plenary Hall. I created and adapted Thai line art to modern style.

Also more option for 100% pure Thai style.

and this is banner design for decorating in the area.

The directory board will be set after delegates has entered form the entrance.

It is necessary to show estimated scale for our production to estimate cost too.

Panyapiwat Institute's Graduation Ceremony

There are too many jobs almost entire this week. 3 of them are a huge projects, it could be said small huge until very huge. And one of those 3s is the graphic and event design for Panyapiwat Institute of Management,

CP Group, one of the most largest enterprise growing many businesses involve in depth with Thai society. I mean they started popular with grilled chicken, This is what I remembered, and then they start to do any kinds productivity from chicken. In many years later. Their businesses become so much variety such as many exported foods, telecommunication, entertainment, 7-11, etc, and also in education as I have just provided graphic materials for Panyapiwat Institute's graduation ceremony. The institute owned by CP Group which I think they want to produce expertise and good quality teams to work in their organization. Now CP Group becomes the most powerful enterprise in my country.

Panyapiwat Institute would like to provide good memorable atmosphere for their students' graduation ceremony. The event is organized by MICE & Communication, which my former senior asked me to do all graphics for this event (I used to work in this agency before).

This below is the tunnel of success which their graphic designer designed for the first presenting, I think they will set up it at the entrance before get in/out the area. Anyway clients like its concept of shape but not in graphic,

So I developed their design to becomes more bright and looks more celebrate like below.

I also created Photo area for each faculty.

Finally, I designed a photo grandstand for taking a photograph.

After this event finished, team has sent me an atmosphere how was my work looks like.

PINK Kindergarten : Cartoon Wallpaper

HA HA HA...don't know what to show. I found one of my proud job I have created for PINK School, the kindergarten situate at Ratchada rd., She asked me to design large wall paper 20 meters long. Microsoft VOSS Launch : Event Key Visual and Exhibition Design

Once when I worked full time in the office at downtown for MICE & Communication. It was so hard to make satisfy to Microsoft's marketing team. Why not so hard to deal with them because there are 4 powerful executives can influence to this project, every projects!!. It hardly made them have a final decision while developing.

This is one of pitching under the title "Microsoft VOSS Launch" which promote for provided solution 4 integrated products, It is also something like you are able to connect to each other no matter where you live on earth. I assume you guys familiar these. From the concept my bosses had briefed to me. I came up the main key visual of various activities about IT business on different location, also they can connect together in somehow some reason.

These below are two optional themes, one shows entirely global graphic, another one has been cropped some part.

From the key visuals, actually they like both two, I distributed to many graphic materials, but I hadn't saved most of them before I moved out from company. This below is mouse pad follow under this concept.

and this is hanging mobile, for decorating in exhibition hall.

Finally, from the perspective have been rendered from my colleague, a 3D designer. I mapped some of graphic materials to decorate follow the main them.

And staffs must have uniform for working in the area.

Vector Billboard Design : Rayong East Water Football 2011

Rayong is one of the most part of my country I really love to go for vacation. It is really beautiful, for a beach, swimming and relaxing on the island. It is my proud to design many graphic medias set up in that province. This is billboard promote Rayong Youth football held by East Water, don't know what it is.

This is just the billboard has been entirely created in Illustrator within 30 mins. Soccer players are all vector clips I have downloaded from free website, but the broadcast camera has been created by myself in vector format. I think overall looks similar to Coke's ad, afraid my client would think I copied from them. Anyway I feel there are many things I have to improve for designing which is too simple for this job, not so cool and not so complicated like design from many others' portfolio. Because I have to be very fast in design too.

INDORAMA Photo Scene : BOI FAIR 2011

The same project I previously designed key visual for INDORAMA. Now I also designed background for photo area will be set up in this room.

As you see something looks like a blue screen at the right. By visitor will post for taking photograph there then my graphic background will be replace into that blue screen in resolution for iPad 1024 X 768 px. First they want suggest to have like Startrek's sliding door is opened, the outside there's Indorama's pavilion. But I suggest more interesting concept. I imagined destination of the new world. This may be the future of the next hundred years. Or hundreds of years, humans have evolved to live in accordance with the natural balance. By using cutting edge technology of PET material to create a link to the basic needs. And extremely useful on the level of humanity. It looks like below.

For example, a massive dome that covered the entire city to control the temperature. And to filter the pollution caused by human life before it is released into the atmosphere. Even my imagination of the Sky City has the same thing.

I have made this model a photo area. Virtual visitors feel like they are standing in the PET dome, and look out to the greater capital of the future which is divided into a left and right. Next from the frame on the left will be an inkjet backdrop. The space between the left and right in the middle part which there is the Indorama Pavilion is entirely blue screen. The window's frames at the right part must be rectangle. Because the space for blue screen must be shaped 1024 X 768 rectangle suitable for iPad.

And the last option is for personal need of executive which is a woman. She need to make it looks cute.

Coffee Tree Logo

My colleague ask me to design her coffee shop's logo, names " Coffee Tree". Because shop's location is under very big tree. Give shade and calm to everyone that has experienced to taste a coffee in this area. So It came up the concept using tree as a main symbol. I suggest mainly 3 ideas for logo design, one is contained within a circle, second is linear and the last one is realistic.

Hope her coffee has a good taste as I am the one like to go around looking for some nice coffee.

From every options, she selected 2 of them (how can I cost her?). Anyway, I also have created coffee menu for setting above behind the counter as below.

Finally, I provide parking sign as complimentary for her too.

NSM need to promote museum with billboard size 8 X 15 meter. The concept is quite simple and follow their guiding which they want to show paper planes flying out from the museum's building to 5 departments of science exhibition. It is very simple idea which they think it works for children.

I created this in Illustrator, use a lot of techniques of gradient tool. I don't like this design as it has been controlled too much from client.

Amway Fair 2011 at Impact Arena

It was so rush to me on last Friday that my client urgently asked me to design 3 photo areas for 3 lines of products before people in exhibition get into Arena hall for motivation. This is part of Amway exhibition will be held at Impact Arena, I don't know what day it is.

There are mainly 2 products they highly concentrate which are:
- Artistry
- glister

I have to create 2 photo areas for Artistry, which the firs is for Intensive Skincare Renewing Peel and the second is for Color. The rest one is for glister.

The concept behind Artistry's Color is about to pick some feeling or emotion of fashion catwalk stage. People can enjoy to pose like model. I think it is better to present straight like just composing their products on a podium. Using the idea of catwalk can be strongly presented about something for woman beauty.

Above is the first draft, the below one has been adjusted by clients.

And finally it becomes to this...

They comment my design will be perfectly OK if the graphic has been done originally by me and they like the concept about catwalk. Anyway it is necessary to follow graphic theme has been created from headquarter.

For glister, The concept behind glister is something looks cute and fun. I make their all products to becomes a model that people can pose by holding the toothbrush and trying like brushing the big teeth model I prepare in the area. This one gonna be very enjoyable.

The last one is for one highlight product of Artistry. Because its performance to help skin looks whiter. So I designed white light platform help people who is posing with the product model looks whiter. From above now has been revised to below. It is better to promote their mascot too.

Today, my client assigned me to design manual's cover for "Local Foods..Local Vegetables" campaign. It will be distributed to many thousands of people in Rayong province, in order to promote and stimulate demand to help farmers in that area.

It would be easy if just picking up an image from Google then retouch it into my cover design. So I decided to create my vegetables in vector art using Illustrator. Client love it because it means they have their own vegetable image (actually there are 3 types of vegetables I took from another client).

It's been about 2 weeks I haven't posted anything, As I said before there are jobs every day. But just some part of them can be shown in here, I mean worth enough to show in my blog. Fortunately, it's very proud for me today I had chance to create illustrate of our King Bhumibol Adulyadej. This is for billboard along the side of street connect between provinces in my country.

It is so bore for me if decide to just pick one of our King's portrait then retouch in canvas, I tried to figure out new way of expression. These 2 portraits created in Illustrator by pencil tool with multiply blend mode. The technique is so simple. Just draw multiply shape again again, little and little, try control the image looks similar to original one.

Today during this afternoon, I have been assigned to improve stage backdrop designed by another graphic designer which the end-user didn't like the design because they thought it looks too simple. So I tried to think about the main objective for this event and make it looks more relative or close to their meaning.

I created all these things in Illustrator such as leaf, the chimpanzee, a wood signage, etc. I made it in smaller scale as the program not allow to make it in actual size on the canvas. But there is nothing to worry when production team enlarge it to actual size because it is vector art.

It's been so long since I posted last time. As I said,,I have many works everyday beside there are just a few that worth enough to show in here. It depends on my client need, how they revise until to becomes the final one.

Today I used Illustrator created wall inkjet for decorating rooms of Science & Technology Development Center located in Jamjuree Square, the hub about education learning in Bangkok. This room is setup for children age between 4 - 10, express something about science activities of children. There's also my mascot design too.

Family Development Center for Municipality

This morning, I designed main theme for municipality campaign about development center for family. I don't know much about the project's detail, but client required happy family image within very limited cost.

As I am a graphic designer, I took one of family image from Google and transform it to becomes a family image in graphic style. I mean re-draw it in Illustrator (Why I didn't use the Tracing plugin?).

It took me about 1 hour to create this family image. Then I compose them in to my artwork as you see below.

Rai Saladaeng : Coffee Sea of Cloud

Rai Saladaeng (means Red Shelter farm). is presently one of popularly coffee shop in Pattaya, the most famous place for tourism in my country. The owner signed contract for concession with government for his coffee beans farming at 6000 feets from high sea level called Angkhang. His business give job opportunity for natively hill tribe on the mountain. He claims his products is individual and very unique in taste.

2 years ago, I designed graphic set for Rai Saladaeng. I offer some idea about using prominent point about his farm land that occurring sea of fog in every morning which is very beautiful.

I retouch for connecting floating behavior of cloud with coffee smoke floating from a cup. As its beautiful of nature where coffee beans have been originally created. I connect this story with simply presentation.
This becomes starting the main graphic which will be adapted to many artworks.

From the theme, it comes down to packaging design.

I also suggested coffee cup for both take away and internal.

And come down to other graphic.

HP Turn to PRO : The Future is NOW!!

Once when I work with MICE team, I have designed key visual for HP PSG event under theme to explain distributor and press about now HP is turning to professional. So I came up idea like diagram originally explained by Charles Darwin that humankind evolved from a monkey, In the same time HP started evolve from the 1st version until like many computer PCs or laptops in present time.

This key visual was OK for HP in the first time before it changed to the new theme which is followed the main guideline originally created from Singapore.

I also gave idea for some feature on the stage. I thought about box can be spun on a column means "Turn to PRO". They had liked this idea too before it changed to follow the new theme.

Vector Art : Hydroponic Vegetables

Tonight I use Illustrator create hydroponic vegetable for put in the product label. First time I made it in black-white outline but it was not present quality of product. Outline graphic is OK for other kinds of design like construction, mechanical, anything that need to explain how to set up or combine.

For drawing a real object in Illustrator, It would be so nice if I can use Mesh tool fluently. It is very ultimate tool and very hard to use or control gradient technique. I hope someday I can 100% use it.

This is almost the last options of theme design for Science & Technology Festival 2011. My ending of this journey is coming. This time talk about wonderful chemical. The presenter in the theme is one of the most famous kids star in my country, which he will be taken for a photograph in studio for real pose later, this is just drafting for director's decision.

All elements except the presenter's face has been picked from many sources in Google. I mean hands, test tube, body, background even hair. I retouched all of materials to become a kids scientist in Photoshop within size 20 X 10 m. as it is size of billboard which will be set up somewhere near flyover express road.

The real graphic I have did not looks so nice like this. You know... designing controlled by government administrator. But I must do something to make it looks better before showing you here.

This is the last one about Giant Tree Can Talk or alive giant tree. On event date, they will provide artificial tree in exhibition which it can talk, I mean just explain about earth crisis caused from cutting trees and promote for safe environment.

The face on the trunk is Lionardo Davinci. But I suspect why they don't use Gregor Johann Mendel as he discovered theory about plant. Maybe Davinci is the most familiar to people.

I designed it looks fantasy like the Ent but not like the one from Lord of the Ring. I like the face because it looks a bit sad, maybe sad to people who cut plants. So let's safe our environment, start from you.

They decided to offer 2 more themes for client as he is the director of Science National Museum. For the theme, one is Melted Iceberg and another is Giant Tree Can Talk.

This post is the Iceberg theme. I present an iceberg is melting, but it is not right melting behavior, I show it in abstract. Because there is no photo of actual image of iceberg when it is melting. It is long period activity as we can only measure that how much ice reduce and increasing of sea level.

Anyway, I think it looks not present strongly from what I tried to explain, and I have already sent to them for further decision.

Siemens Energy Saving Day Roadshow

Three years ago, I have been assigned to design graphic pack for "Siemens Energy Saving Day". It was the roadshow around the country present about how Siemens concern about energy saving and environment. Also stimulate 3 main categories of product in the country. (but my house use Electrolux). This seminar was under organized by The SAZZY.

I started to came out the main theme which had already been controlled by very strong guideline from head office in Germany. The plus one I have to design is the theme logo for internal promoting, the logo "Siemens Energy Saving Day".

I got some source of original elements from Siemens, retouch and compose them to become the completed theme like below.

From the main theme, it was distributed to many graphic materials as below.

The last thing was my highlight is tent design. Actually It had been designed by other designer before it was adapted by me to make it looks attractive.

Because this party will be held in Phuket, and the product itself looks colorful relate how the party should be. I combined some pieces of plastic then form its shape like a coconut plant.

I created this theme in Illustrator in order to get ready for enlarging scales to becomes large canvas inkjet will be set on the cruise's side. From theme will be adapted to many graphic materials like below is an inkjet stand and hanging.

Waiting for the right time. The biggest mistake beginners do is to set their camera up and take a straight on shot of the sun in the center of the frame. This only produces dull images that any one can take.

Graphic Tutorials

To get professional looking photos do what the greats do. You have to try and capture the atmosphere of the scene. Like mountains, trees or anything that can add depth to the scene. By doing this you create a silhouette of the foreground, which gives the photo a dark and moody effect. Most camera have an option for taking sunset pictures built in, which will give you the correct exposure. Consult your owners manuel for detail instructions.
Wait for the sun to be out of view. By obscuring the sun with an object in the scene you will create the silhouette effect. This creates less extreme lighting and will give you better flow between the background and foreground.
When taking portraitures, faces will look better if you use a flash. Try to use white balancing techniques in this situation. Setting your white balance to daylight manually will create warm tones with reds and yellows, which is the effect you want.
As always if you're using a digital camera take several pictures and use different techniques. Move the camera to different positions especially keeping it at ground level, which will capture more of the foreground a make it appear as if you are in the photo.

Long time ago, I have designed packaging for nail care products will be sold only in Japan. Main objective was to create pattern for the package, but it was necessary to show them how will it be the final product. I used Photoshop technique draw and retouch 3D of products and the products when it's attached on the package. This job is still not confirmed anything as I tried to call for follow to them many times. Anyway I still feel proud and keep this job as one of my premium portfolio.
